I'm Elizabeth J Garcia, a Musican, Educator, and Brass Specialist! Originally from Texas, I graduated from Angelo State University with my Bachelor of Music, specializing in Education and Trombone. I then went on to become the Assistant Band Director in Anson, Texas for three years. While there, I directed the Middle School Band Program as well as the Elementary Beginning Band, with all of my Middle School ensembles earning top honors at UIL competitions. I also assisted the High School Band in achieving outstanding ratings in both UIL Marching and Concert contests, culminating in competitions at the State Level for three years in a row! Since moving to Colorado, I've had the opportunity to teach all around the Denver area, specializing in the advancement of Elementary, Middle, and High School brass players. When I'm not teaching, I can usually be found ​with a coffee in hand, ​spending time with my two cats, Chaconne and Caprice, or watching Star Trek!
